BillyBase was created by a group of passionate Billy Strings fans who came together to dig through the archives and gather all the historic show and setlist information. The team was led by Nick, a fan who later became the band’s first official archivist. BillyBase is the result of this community effort to gather, catalog, and preserve the history of Billy Strings’ live shows.
Along with Nick, we gotta give a huge shout out to Mikey Minerals for literally saving the day (more than once), bringing in countless setlists he had saved. Thank you Mikey!
Huge thanks to Julie Somers, who worked side-by-side with Nick & Mikey to prepare BillyBase for fans. Julie remains a cornerstone of the site and community. Without her, none of this would be possible. Thank you Julie!
We also want to tip our hats to the fine folks over at the Billy Strings Set List Page on Facebook. We’re deeply grateful to the admins and fans of that group for the wonderful resource they’ve built. Thanks to their efforts, we’re able to keep BillyBase updated in real time for everyone.
A heartfelt thank you to the folks in the poster community who share photos of prints & edition sizes with us. Your contributions are hugely appreciated (special, shout out to the Billy Strings Print Collector & Pyramid Poster Country FB groups).
In late 2024, BillyBase went offline, citing lack of resources after Nick and the band parted ways. For fans, the idea of losing such a special resource was unthinkable.
After attending a show, a fan noticed the outage and reached out offering to help. That connection led to Songfish, a niche setlist tracking software company, adopting BillyBase with a promise to keep it online and free for fans.
This partnership protected years of music history and opened the door for thoughtful new tools and features that will bring fans closer to the music, and to each other.
Late Spring 2025 Update: Since the changeover earlier this year, we’ve significantly improved the site’s speed & stability (it’s no longer slow or unreliable). Thank you for your patience and allowing us to earn your trust & support.
Late Summer 2025 Update: We are working to slowly mend some fences and give the seasons time to heal. In the meantime, we’re doing some house cleaning here and there. We are looking forward to a more significant update soon.
