BillyBase is a community powered project dedicated to tracking what’s played at every Billy Strings show. Our goal is to capture details from each performance, including setlists, posters, merch, fan photos (coming soon), and local fan-driven events such as vendor marketplaces, after-parties, volunteer opportunities and other happenings around town. Our hope is to not just capture the setlist and all the beautiful nuances of each song but also the vibe surrounding the show, so everyone in attendance can relive those memories decades later.
With a free account, BillyBase offers members a personalized view of their Billy Strings concert journey. It shows totals for live shows, livestreams, and upcoming events, plus details like unique songs seen live. Users can rank shows, track poster/merch collections and wishlists, and see favorite albums and top shows.
BillyBase will always remain free and open to the community. Managed by passionate fans, it thrives because of you. If you’d like to be part of the team, drop us a line at [email protected].

BillyBase was created by a group of passionate Billy Strings fans who came together to dig through the archives and gather all the historic information. The team was led by Nick, a fan who later became the band’s first official archivist. Billy Base is the result of this community effort to gather, catalog, and preserve the history of Billy Strings’ live shows. For years, Nick followed the band, documenting every setlist and collaborating with fans to backfill older shows with incredible detail. In 2021, BillyBase officially launched and quickly became the central hub for sharing that collective work.

“We will forever be grateful to Mikey Mineral for literally saving the day (more than once), bringing in countless saved setlists.
Huge thanks to Julie Somers, who worked side-by-side with Nick and Mikey to prepare BillyBase for fans. Julie remains a cornerstone of the site and community. Without her, we might all still be stuck on setlist.fm!”

In late 2024, BillyBase briefly went offline due to resource issues. A couple of months later, the site was unexpectedly revived. Billy Strings, surprised, stated on social media that the outage was related to a compensation dispute with the band’s archivist.
What folks didn’t know was that a fan named Andy had stepped forward to see if he could help keep it online. Andy, who works with the Songfish setlist software, had attended a Billy Strings show in Fort Worth. When he noticed BillyBase was down, he offered to help.
For Songfish, this was a perfect fit. Pairing BillyBase’s amazing team with the strong technical capabilities of the Songfish crew will allow us to take BillyBase into the next century. In just the first 30 days, BillyBase enjoyed improved reliability, and speed increased considerably. This new partnership will ensure the site stays online during peak demand at shows. It will also secure the future of BillyBase and allow us to learn and building better software together.
Songfish is proud to carry the torch and walk hand-in-hand with BillyBase into the future. Billy Strings delivers unforgettable performances, and fellow fans deserve equally powerful tools to follow the journey.
Together, we’re not just preserving the past, we’re building the future. What we create together will help music lovers for other bands relive their favorite shows too, meet other fans, and connect with each other in meaningful ways.
The future is bright and we’re just getting started.comm
